What I want from the next 10 weeks is a start to a healthier way of living. I have 3 small girls and a husband who needs me to be there. I need to stop being LAZY and just do it. I am a very motivated person when I want to be, but it is the wanting part that always seems to get me! I am in a place in my life that I am completely satisfied with everything except my weight…and I can change that. I have been talking about joining the YMCA for like a year now and there was always some excuse; no excuses now because it is free! I know that the weight that I have put on is not just going to go away in 10 weeks but it is a start. My personal goals are just to lose weight and get to a place where I can be in the routine of exercising like I need to.

Hey!! I resent that remark "TRY" to look pretty!!! What's wrong with you? Why do we keep trying to go to the Y together; we're on different teams!!! You and Ernie should be the ones trying to meet up since my friend got on the same team as my man but that's alright I didn't tell him I was going yesterday and left him in the bed so he couldn't get a star!!! Oh, this is going to be so much fun!! Well, maybe, I'm not sure; I might end up dying right there in the Y from being out of shape so bad!!! I'm glad I quit smoking because I would have died Saturday!! I didn't really like working out with Skinny Boy did you??

What are we going to do with the guys on our team! We are certainly holding up our end of the deal - we need to get them off of their lazy butts and add some stars to the board. Keep up the good work:)

Don't give up, the more weight you lose the easier the workouts will get. If you don't lose one week or even gain a pound or two, don't give up - just work that much harder.

Amber, have you been lifting weights? The reason I ask is I'm thinking you might be a good fit for the weight lifting competition. The females only have to bench press a 35# bar as many times as they can for 1 minute.

You were correct on the weight, 50# for women.
